Could VMware be the next Apple?

Leading German newspaper Handelsblatt has been looking at the new Apples – companies that could one day have as much impact on the markets as the Cupertino-based company. Included on the list is VMware, which we’re pleased to see. The article is in German, so we’ve included a rough translation:

VMware CEO Paul Maritz will be more than pleased to hear this. “VMware defines what virtualization is, and also what it means to be progressive”, [JP Morgan analyst Tom] Lee says. In the past these sort of things were only usually said about one company – Apple.

If you’re interested in finding out why people might consider us to define virtualization, why not come along to the VMware Forum events? They’re taking place across Europe throughout April, May and June – check out the website to find and register for the location nearest to you.
